# Add and update background color, gradient, and custom image
### Background Settings
You can add/update background color, gradient, and Image for a design on AppLaunchpad
#### Add background color
1. Click on **Background** from the left menu settings.
2. Select the **Solid** tab from the top menu settings.
3. Select the screenshot you want to add color to.
4. Choose a color from the color options, using the color picker or by inserting the color hex value.
#### Add Background Gradient
1. Click on **Background** from the left menu settings.
2. Select the **Gradient** tab from the top menu settings.
3. Select the screenshot you want to add color to.
4. Choose the gradient color combination and angle to add a gradient color to your background.
#### Add Custom Background Image
1. Click on **Background** on the left menu.
2. Click on the **Upload Image** button under **Image** in the **top menu**.
3. Upload a custom background image.
4. Select the screenshot where you want to upload the background image.
5. At last, click on your uploaded background image.
### Add a stock photo as a background image
1. Click on **Background** on the left menu.
2. Click on the **Explore Image** button under **Image** in the **top menu**.
3. Pick a stock image of your choice.
4. Select the screenshot where you want to upload the background image.
5. At last, click on the stock image you want to add.
